Inversiones Marítimas Internacionales S. de R. L. (IMARINTER) was founded in 1964 by Mr. Jose Trinidad Fajardo and Mrs. Gloria Angela de Fajardo with the goal of becoming the best shipping agency in all ports of Honduras. Their legacy continues today under the leadership of their grandson, Roberto Villanueva Fajardo.
José Trinidad Fajardo Bueso (1922–2008) was a man of hard work, vision, and service. Born in Trinidad, Santa Bárbara, he arrived on the north coast in 1944 with the determination to build a future through effort and discipline. His career included key roles in the public and port sectors, including positions at the Empresa Nacional Portuaria and in the Customs and Revenue administration in Puerto Cortés.
Beyond his professional calling, he was known for his honesty, charisma, and generous spirit: he supported many people, promoted initiatives, and always kept his roots and values alive. That legacy of commitment and service is an essential part of what inspires IMARINTER today.
